The past few years, the "brow game" has got stronger and stronger. 2015 was the year for brows being "on fleek", but 2016, the current trend is au' naturelle. Whatever the trend, some products are adaptable to change, Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade being one of them.

There are many mixed reviews on ABH's Dipbrow Pomade (which FYI, I thought was called promenade - yes I'm weird I know), some love it and some hate it. To be honest, it's taken me a while to get used to this product and to get it to do what I want it to. I am not a fan of the over-the-top-drawn-on-look but I do need to define by brows to give them shape. Of course, getting treatments like HD brows will definitely help but I still need a little enhancement.

ABH's Dipbrow Pomade is definitely my go-to brow product. A little pot of a gel-like formula to enhance, shape and fill your brows to look as natural or as drawn on as you like. I apply this with an angled eyeliner brush from Real Techniques, just because it gives me the precision I need to get a strong brow shape. I'd definitely recommend getting a brush like this to apply this product, and practice getting the precision and definition you're looking for.

In terms of colour, I use a Medium Brown, which being honest, I'd probably go for a lighter shade in future as if I am a little tired and accidental apply more product that I'd like to, then my brows can look a little too fierce for my liking. That said, you can apply the product as delicately or as strong as you like, it really is all in the application.

Cost wise, £15.00 for a 4g pot does seem a little pricey. But, considering this is a beauty favourite and that this has lasted me six months already (and it's still going strong), I definitely think it's worth the money, and much more.

How 'on fleek' are your brows? What's your go-to brow product?

I admit that I am a bit of a high-end snob and I rarely used high street make-up, but that is slowly changing with little beauties like this. I was rather intrigued when I saw the reviews of this as it's highly praised within the blogger world, so I thought, what could I lose?

First things first, the Micro-Corrector Applicator is perfect for under eye application. It's a soft delicate sponge that glides the product on evenly and fills and smooths your skin. It's so easy to apply and has a lovely thin-yet strong coverage without setting into any wrinkles or dry areas or appearing too heavy. With an active formula of Haloxyl that reduces the appearance of puffiness and under eye circles, and a brightening shade to add an luminous touch.

It wears really well, even though it may need re-applying during the day - old habits, especially when you work in an office. Surprisingly, this product is really handy if you're on the go to quickly cover up and although it's a concealer, I also sometimes top up other areas of my face too, mainly because I can be lazy when quickly tidying up my face in my car.

I'm probably not the best person to review this as it's an anti-age product and considering I'm only 26, I may not be able to tell you if it works. But you're supposed to start looking after your skin while you're young so hey, hopefully this does the trick for my eye wrinkles and eye bags when I am older.

Maybelline's Anti Age The Eraser Concealer can be picked up from most stockists, and is priced at £7.99. But remember to keep an eye out at the 3 for 2 offers at Boots as this product is so popular it's always sold out in light, and of course you'll get a reet bargain.

Love, Charlotte Elizabeth xo

Esteè Lauder is one of those beauty brands that is timeless. I remember when I was a little girl, I used to sneak into my mum's bedroom and have a spritz of her signature Esteè Lauder perfume or rummage through her make-up bag, which was of course, filled with beautiful Esteè Lauder products.

So, while growing up, naturally I was a huge fan of Esteè Lauder Beauty. Around Christmas time, each year The Make-Up Artist Collection comes out, each year with a new selection of products and a new storage bag. Swooning. Usually you have to pick up two products from Esteè Lauder and you'll be given the opportunity to buy this kit at a huge saving of £54.00. But I picked this up on last year's Black Friday without the need to buy anything else. That just gave me more of a reason to pick this up.

Presented in a beautiful patent red briefcase-style-bag, packed with the a range of twelve "essential" products, worth over £290.00 which would suit any beauty addict or aspiring make-up artist. In this kit, you'll get a Mini make-up pouch, 3 x full size Long Lasting Lipsticks (RRP £22.00 each), 2 x mini Pure Colour Lipsticks (RRP £20.00 5.8ml), 15ml pot of Revitalizing Supreme Light Moisturiser (RRP £22.50), 7ml miniature of Advanced Night Repair Serum (RRP £16.67 10ml), full size Sumptuous Extreme Volumising Mascara (RRP £24.00), full size Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover (RRP £20.00), mini Modern Muse perfume, full size Limited Edition Bronzer (RRP £33.00) and the most beautiful palette with 12 eyeshadows and two blushers. Woah, now you can breathe!

Being completely honest, I don't think there is one thing I dislike about this kit. Each of the products are amazing and completely worth the money. The bronzer is a little dark for my porcelain skin, but when Summer comes around and I'm rocking a tan it will be just perfect. Many of these products I use on a daily basis so this purchase was more of a money saver for me, but for anyone who's wanting to start their collection, this is the one thing you'll need to pick up as it just has a bit of everything. Except foundation. Sadly.

Unfortunately, because I've wasted so much time getting this post up on the blog, this kit is no longer available to purchase. Or at least, not that I can find. But if you do find a link, please pop it in the comments, as sharing's caring.

I can't believe it's 2017. Within the blink of an eye, 2016 vanished. As did 2015. It only feels like last week that I was celebrating my 21st birthday; and now, I'm a happily married, twenty something woman that is quickly flying through life. Before I know it, I'll be 30, and then 60, and then cashing in my pension. Gulp!

These past six months have flown by, and I've come to notice the same question popping up regularly. That question is "How's Married Life?". Well, since you asked, I can now truthfully answer - no different. I almost feel like it may get awkward when I say that, but I don't think there is another way to put it. Actually, tell a white lie. I suppose there is a slight difference. I'm not skint, half of everything I own now legally belongs to my husband and I'm now fatter as I don't have a wedding dress to fit into. But there are a few things that I've learnt in these last six months, so I thought I'd share these with you all. Yano' as a slight warning so you know exactly how to prepare yourself for post-married life. Or just in case you fancy a giggle at the not-so-romantic side of marriage.

UNHEALTHY SAVINGS

I was always, somewhat bad with money. Although I have never got myself in debt - Thank you momma and pops for teaching me the ways of the world! - I was bad at saving. Whenever I had money, I found something I needed (okay wanted ) to spend it on. So, after you've worked hard to save thousands of pounds to treat yourself to a luxury holiday or a few Chanel classics, as soon as you get engaged and start planning for the big day, it's almost heart breaking seeing how quickly money disappears and eventually you're left with barely tuppence in your bank. Oh sigh!

TIME FOR BABIES

So, now you're married. Congratulations. But you've not even left your own wedding reception before you get comments from family and friends, asking when you're planning to pop out a baby. You haven't even consummated our marriage yet, never mind thinking about having children. In all seriousness though, this is a question that really makes me feel uncomfortable, mainly because no-one really thinks about the question. How do you know that the person you're asking can have children? Or that they even want children? Those conversations could be really awkward or even upsetting for some, but you'll still get asked them. And you'll still have to smile and nod, and say that you're happy with owning 17 Pug dogs. Uh-uh this will probably be me in about 4 years time. #LifeGoals.

A BIT OF PUDDING

Everyone always says that when you settle down, you put weight on. I was the kinda girl that could eat so much food and never put weight on. Oh to be 19 again. Winning. But as you get older, the weight catches up with you. Quicker than you ever imagined. It's usually after you've settled down. I was living with my husband for around four years before getting married so we had already put some pudding on, because you know, those nights where you can't be bothered to cook a home-made meal, you end up having take out. Not only that, we find ourselves indulging in a weekly wine night with friends, which certainly doesn't help keep those lbs off. Since being married, I'll happily hold my hands up and admit that I've put some pudding on. I don't know if it's because I no longer have the pressure of fitting into a wedding dress or just because I've been so exhausted with working full time, studying part time, being a full time carer and running a blog. But whatever it is, I don't like it and now I have to work twice as hard to burn off the extra junk in my trunk.

LIFE IS BORING

Before I get told off, married life isn't boring. It's just the same so don't worry, I'm not implying that you'll be sat in the corner in a rocking chair reading a book indulging in intermittent pointless conversations. Of course, your marriage is what you make it so if you enjoyed spending time together before you got married then make sure you go on regular dates, travel and create memories after then it won't be boring. However, I mean that now your wedding day will go by so fast and it's really hard to enjoy and remember all the bits that you arranged. I wish we could re-do it again and again, just so I can embrace the moment. But now, there is nothing left to plan for, and to be honest I really miss it.

I hope you enjoyed the funny side to this post. I absolutely love being married and I wouldn't change it for the world. If you fancied reading my other Wedding related posts you can do here.

Before we start, this blog post comes with a warning. A warning that this post contains close-up photos of untreated, un-tweezed and rather bush like brows. Gulp. But, I promise by the end of it they look a lot more acceptable. Woah woah, don't scroll yet. You need to read the full review first...

Being a beauty hoarder, I often indulge in lots of beautiful and exciting new products to test and review for you lovely bunch. But, products are printed with so many fancy codes how are we supposed to know what they mean? From my years of experience in the industry I thought I’d share with you some information on what those funny little symbols mean. Did you know that beauty products have a used by date? How do you know whether a product is cruelty free or not? If you don’t know and want to find out then keep reading.
