When I was challenged by FarFetch to create a Spring look using the latest pieces on their site, I just jumped at the chance. I mean, I've always loved playing dress up or creating wishlists of things I reallyyy want to own. I've carefully selected key pieces which are not only your must-have-essentials this season, but when worn together, they create the most incredible outfit.
THE 'IT' SHOE
The most important part of your Spring wardrobe. Shoes. And not just any shoes, but floral shoes. Dolce and Gabbana's latest collection has really out done themselves. I have never seen a more beautiful collection, and I am particularly lusting after these Dolce and Gabbana Daisy and Poppy Pumps. Not only do they have the prettiest of patterns with a gorgeous statement embellishment on the toe, but they are a classic court style which will make them super versatile when it comes to styling but they'll be really easy (and comfy) to wear. Whether you'd pair these with a pair of smart trousers and a pretty blouse, or your favourite pair of skinny jeans and an oversized tee, these shoes will complete every outfit. I need them in my life. And you do too.
WHITE TEE
Each year, when it gets closer to Spring, I regularly find myself picking up pieces to create my Spring and Summer wardrobe. Particularly white tee's. From blouses and shirts, to casual tops and cashmere sweaters. As long as it's white I'm having it. I spotted this simple, yet chic Michael Kors Tee-Blouse and I just fell in love. It has a classic, simple t-shirt design at the front, but the back as gorgeous feminine pleats to add that little something special to your outfit. Not only is this style super classy but it's a cute, chic top that you can wear with almost every kind of outfit.
STYLISH SHADES
STATEMENT JACKET
When Spring starts to show it's face, a pair of sunglasses is the one thing I can't leave the house with. And not just your basic pair of sunglasses, I like super fancy, oversized, look-at-my-sunglasses-aren't-they-amazing sunglasses. Yeah, you know the ones. FarFetch literally have the best collection of sunglasses and being honest, it was really hard to pick my favourite. But these Christian Dior 'So Real' shades with a tortoise shell effect and silver rim, these sunglasses are just to die for. Regardless if it's sunny or not, once you've picked them up, you'll be wearing these all year around.
DENIM SKIRT
It's so hard to find the perfect denim skirt to suit your style. From A-Line to Pencil. Or Mini to Midi. There are so many options, how do you know what's the style for you? This Saint Laurent straight washed denim skirt is so versatile it can suit almost every style and you can wear it dressed up or dressed down. The length, colour and style is so classic, it will also suit a variety of ages and sizes.
Ever since I saw this jacket on Victoria's blog, I knew I needed it. Balmain Fitted Textured Blazer is just the most beautiful classy yet chic jacket I have ever seen. With a large shoulder pads to accentuate your figure and military style buttons to add a bit of edge, I see this more as an investment as it's a staple piece that can complete any outfit and will be worn for years to come. I need it. And yes that's a need.
BOLD & BRIGHT
ACCESSORIES
Spring/Summer is the perfect excuse to brighten up your wardrobe. And what better way to add a pop of colour to your outfit than with a beautiful bright bag. I've been lusting after the Chloe Drew Bag for ages, usually I'm an oversized tote kinda girl, but this bag just stole my heart. Surprisingly for a small bag this has lots of space, complete with a delicate chain, this bag just oozes class. I just couldn't take my eyes off this particular shade, it gives my look that luxury finish as it compliments the Dolce and Gabbana Daisy and Poppy Pumps so well.
ACCESSORIES
When you have the prettiest Dolce and Gabbana pumps on, with a bold and bright Chloe Drew bag. You'll need to keep your accessories simple but still keeping the wow factor. I've wanted a Hermes Clic Clac Bracelet for so long, and I mean sooooo long. It's one of the most simplist designs but is one of those bracelets that will catch everyone's attention. But you don't want to take the attention away from your shoes, so stick with neutral colours to keep it chic.
