I know, the highlight of your dreams maybe quite a strong title but if you've tried MAC Soft and Gentle then you will know why! Never have I loved a beauty product as much as I did when I first saw MAC Mineralise Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle (£24.00).  I was never much of a highlight kinda girl until I quickly realised that this was a make-up trend that would probably stick around for a very long time. Having seen this throughout the blogosphere for a while I was intrigued to find out more about this highlighter and I can see why, I mean who doesn't love a beautiful Kimmy K glow?

MAC Pro-Longwear Blusher in ' Blush All Day' // Debenhams // £19

I love MAC blushers as I really do think they are great value for money as they last a long time and the pigment is always beautiful. The latest in my collection is this Pro-Longwear Blusher in Blush All Day, in the packaging it is a peachy nude with a subtle shimmer of sparkle, on your cheeks this adds a lovely glow and creates lovely rosie cheeks.

I love that this shade is easily build-able which means I can only apply a small soft amount for a subtle day wear but I can also use this blusher to make a more dramatic look if wanted. Out of all the MAC blushers this has to be my recently new favourite as it's just a perfect shade for me and I would definitely recommend you ladies picking this shade up for your collection.

What blushers would you recommend?

MAC Cremesheen lipsticks really are my favourite! They are a super creamy formula that leave a glossy look without looking sloppy and a beautiful burst of colour. I have finally built a collection of MAC lipsticks and I always use the cremesheen the most, if you have not bought a MAC lipstick I would definitely recommending picking up a nude-ish shade from the cremesheen collection as they more or less suit everyone and they are just gorgeous.

The newest addition to my Cremesheen lipstick collection is this shade in Sunny Seoul, in the tube the shade looks a coral-pink with a subtle shimmer tone but on your lips it almost looks like a nude-pinky shade. I did notice that this shade did change pigmentation under different lights as in natural light you could really see the pop of colour but in artificial lighting the lipstick is more subtle.

Please excuse the fact that my face looks rather hairy! I don't know why my camera does this haha. I absolutely love this colour and it will definitely be a re-purchase of mine, it has already taken price place as my new favourite.

What MAC lipsticks would you recommend? Will you be picking up this shade?

MAC Prep & Prime Finishing Translucent Powder £20.00

MAC Prep & Prime Finishing Powder is suitable for all skin tones and is designed to reduce shine whilst minimizing the look of lines and imperfections. MAC say you can wear this over make up or on it's own (I don't know how that would work but hey ho)

I have tried a few finishing powders as my skin is Combination/Oily so I think its the perfect product to finish your make-up with however I have always been disappointed with them as they usually come in a powder and I found that I ended up looking like a ghost after using them so I decided to give up. I didn't realise MAC had released this in a compact so I was super excited when I seen this in store and I decided to pick this up to try.

The powder is very light and doesn't make your skin look white despite how it appears on my fingers above. I apply this over my make-up and powder to set my look. I love this! It helps reduce the shiny appearance on my skin and it helps keep my make-up in place. You don't need a lot of this powder and even though it's quite pricey compared to other finishing powders it is definitely worth the money. I would definitely recommend having this in your make-up collection.

What do you think of this product? Are there any other Prep & Prime products that you love?

I love wearing bright colours in Spring/Summer so what better excuse to pick up a new MAC lippy when I noticed that I was able to collect a freebie from the Back to MAC. (for those who don't know what this is all you need to do is take 6 empty MAC products into a participating store and you get a free lippy of you choice) I always love a free MAC lipstick, even more so they have put their prices up to £15 per lipstick.

I prefer the creamier style lipsticks rather than the matte shades so I picked Bomb Shell which is part of the Frost range. I love the pigment of this Frost lipstick it's a beautiful pink shade with subtle golden shimmers which creates a perfect summer lipstick.

Do you have Bombshell in your collection? What other lipstick's would you recommend for Spring/Summer?
