I really cannot believe it is November already! I am soooo sorry that it has been so long since I posted, the last time I posted was just before I went to Spain for two weeks, I have been home a month but it only feels like last week. I have been so busy I didn't realise how long ago it really was until now, but I have lots of exciting things to share with you.

Image Source: Provided from our Venue.

First things first is we can finally announce that we have set a date! YIPPEEEEE. It was long time coming but whilst we was on holiday in Spain we viewed several venues, funnily enough the venue which we had our eyes on before we went was the one we most disliked however we fell in love with a beautiful traditional Spanish venue and we were able to secure our date for next year - completely exciting! Sadly it's not a legal wedding as we are not Spanish residents so we will still need to arrange to get married in the UK but we are really looking forward to this blessing as it also means a lot of our family who live in Spain can be there also.

For those who don't know we are getting married in Spain so we will share our journey as planning a wedding takes a lot of time anyway, never mind when you are not getting married in your country of residence (we never really took the easy option! haha) so to help anyone who is planning their wedding abroad or for anyone that wants to follow our journey we will try and update you where possible. We will be keeping a lot of our location and plans secret as we have a lot planned for our guests but we will share with you what we can and if you are planning a wedding whether in the UK or abroad and want to know any advice then feel free to message me.

I have also been quite busy since coming back from my holiday as I started a new job the week after I returned, it's all going really well and it's a lot better than my previous job and it is not as stressful so it means I now have more time to focus on my studying and on my blog :) YAY!

This was just a quick post to let you know what I have been up to but I will be posting a lot more now and I can hopefully get back on track with everything :)

So bit of a while since I have updated you on my wedding plans but I finally have things in progress so I thought I would update you on my current progress. I have created a little wedding corner in my living room with my Wedding Day scented Yankee Candle, my Pot of Dreams Wedding Fund, some flowers and my wedding planner so it's a focus point in my home which always puts a smile on my face.

We have finally booked our holiday to view a variety of venues as we are getting married in Southern Spain so hopefully by the time we come back in October we will have booked our venue. Even more exciting is I have finally discussed the final look for my wedding dress, I am having my wedding dress and my bridesmaid dresses designed by Gurtlamorous so I went for my consultation and we went through fabric, lace, veil, beading and train fabrics and it was rather exciting! It was also very hard to choose as there are so many different types of fabrics, and this is just the start as I have to pick the different colour swatches next time but it is all going to be worth it and it make's me so happy that me and my girls will have specially made dresses on my big day that will hopefully make them feel special too :)

Other than that there isn't really much else to tell at the moment, but I will keep you updated and expect to see a lot of DIY wedding posts as I like to think myself as a creative soul and I will be trying to make as much as I can for my wedding as I think it make's it more personal :)

Are you getting married soon? Do you have any useful tips that may help me along the way?

Well I bet you are wondering who this stranger is writing this blog post - I know I know, I have been a really and I mean really bad blogger! I know I say this everytime but I have been super busy I didn't even realise August had started.

But I finally have something to look forward to as me and my fiancé have finally booked our first holiday since buying our house two years ago. *YIPPEE* We are going to Javea which is on the South Coast of Spain as I have family out there so it will be lovely to spend time with them and stop at their beautiful home and we are also going to view and potentially book our wedding venue! Super YIPPEE! Yes you guessed it we are getting married in Spain and if all goes to plan we will be getting married next October so I have a year to plan, organise and grow up before the big day :)

One thing I want to rant about is that Maz needs to have Oxygen during any flight (for those who don't know Maz has Cystic Fibrosis so if you've read my previous posts this should make sense) however I was completely oblivious that you actually have to pay for this! - I KNOW. And it doesn't come cheap as it's £100 each way even though it is a short flight, obviously we have paid it as it is something he unable to travel without but I really thought it was disgusting that airlines charge that amount of money each way just for a disabled person to have support in flight. It's therapeutic oxygen so it's slightly purer than air oxygen and it will be administered at the level of recommendation by his nurse but I really was so shocked that it would cost us so much. Is it just me or does this seem a little unfair? Especially because it's not everyday you will have a passenger that is Oxygen dependant but hey ho we can't change it. Rant over! :)

I've also started a new workout regime which I am really enjoying (despite me aching! ahah) and it can all be done from the comfort of your own home, it is an app called FitStar and it is a personal trainer app that has real video's of your personal trainer and it includes many tips and routines that you can enjoy and he talks and motivates you throughout. With this I am also starting a whole new healthy regime as I have stopped Slimming World because I came to a stop with my weight as I think my body was getting used to it and I think this is because you can still be naughty if you count it in your syns. Don't get me wrong it is fab for weight-loss as I have lost just under a stone and kept it off but I really want to get fit and healthy so I am starting a new lifestyle journey to completely change my body and get healthy, toned and happy! Keep your eye's peeled and I will keep you posted with my progress :)

What have you been up to recently? Do you have any exciting plans for the rest of the year?
