I admit that I am a bit of a high-end snob and I rarely used high street make-up, but that is slowly changing with little beauties like this. I was rather intrigued when I saw the reviews of this as it's highly praised within the blogger world, so I thought, what could I lose?

First things first, the Micro-Corrector Applicator is perfect for under eye application. It's a soft delicate sponge that glides the product on evenly and fills and smooths your skin. It's so easy to apply and has a lovely thin-yet strong coverage without setting into any wrinkles or dry areas or appearing too heavy. With an active formula of Haloxyl that reduces the appearance of puffiness and under eye circles, and a brightening shade to add an luminous touch.

It wears really well, even though it may need re-applying during the day - old habits, especially when you work in an office. Surprisingly, this product is really handy if you're on the go to quickly cover up and although it's a concealer, I also sometimes top up other areas of my face too, mainly because I can be lazy when quickly tidying up my face in my car.

I'm probably not the best person to review this as it's an anti-age product and considering I'm only 26, I may not be able to tell you if it works. But you're supposed to start looking after your skin while you're young so hey, hopefully this does the trick for my eye wrinkles and eye bags when I am older.

Maybelline's Anti Age The Eraser Concealer can be picked up from most stockists, and is priced at £7.99. But remember to keep an eye out at the 3 for 2 offers at Boots as this product is so popular it's always sold out in light, and of course you'll get a reet bargain.

Love, Charlotte Elizabeth xo

MAC Pro-Longwear Blusher in ' Blush All Day' // Debenhams // £19

I love MAC blushers as I really do think they are great value for money as they last a long time and the pigment is always beautiful. The latest in my collection is this Pro-Longwear Blusher in Blush All Day, in the packaging it is a peachy nude with a subtle shimmer of sparkle, on your cheeks this adds a lovely glow and creates lovely rosie cheeks.

I love that this shade is easily build-able which means I can only apply a small soft amount for a subtle day wear but I can also use this blusher to make a more dramatic look if wanted. Out of all the MAC blushers this has to be my recently new favourite as it's just a perfect shade for me and I would definitely recommend you ladies picking this shade up for your collection.

What blushers would you recommend?

I was a little excited when a parcel arrived at my home with these little beauties in them. I have always been a fan of Real Technique's brushes so I was very intrigued at their new limited edition essential collection.

Unlike other Real Technique's the handles of these brushes have a silver metallic design which adds a luxury feel. Each brush head is hand cut to allow precise applicable and the bristles are all ultra plush, cruelty-free and duo-fibre.

In this set you get a duo-fibre powder brush, a cheek brush, a base eye shadow brush, angled shadow brush and an eyeliner brush.

I was rather excited to use these as I have always been rather impressed with Real Technique's brushes however I have to say I am a little disappointed with these as I expected more out of these brushes. Don't get me wrong they are still really good and the bristles are really soft when used on skin but the quality of these brushes are not as good as the original core collection and I expected them to be better as they are a limited edition.

I still think the set is lovely and it would be perfect for a Christmas present. The set is currently available from Boots at £29.99* for the set.

Have you tried this Limited Edition collection? What do you think of this set?

This post is well overdue as I should have posted this a few weeks ago but as you probably know I have been a little quiet as I have been rather busy.

A month ago, on my travels to Spain I was shopping in the Ondara Shopping Centre near Javea (which is amazing by the way, they have a Zara Home! - I know) and I was introduced to KIKO Make-Up. I had previously heard wonderful things about this Italian cosmetics brand but they only have a few stores in the UK all of which happen to be absolutely no-where near where I live, and as I am a little funny when it comes to trying new make-up I didn't want to buy online incase I didn't get what I wanted, so sadly for me I never got to try anything in person.

Needless to say I was so impressed as the store and the cosmetic range is absolutely to die for! Everything is so reasonably priced and the pigmentation of the products is amazing. I couldn't believe my little green eyes when I seen these KIKO Kiss Balms - look familiar? I thought so too!

They are the BEST dupe I have ever seen and I think I actually prefer these (in case you are wondering they are an amazing dupe of BeneTINT lip balms by Benefit Cosmetics)!

Normally I find lip balms quite sticky so I get put off using them and will usually end up using a moisturising lipstick but in store I managed to try these before purchasing and oh wow I was impressed, the texture is really creamy but not glossy and the subtle tint is just enough to give you a little pop colour.

When using these lip balms my lips were instantly hydrated and felt really soft - each lip balm is also scented (varies on different shades) so it make's your lips feel and smell divine. I guess that's why they are called Kiss Balms.

I picked up Shade 06 Blackberry which is subtle plum purple colour, its enough to wear every day without feeling overdressed with your make-up and Shade 01 Apricot which is a soft coral colour, this shade actually looks brighter in the tube but when worn it is a beautiful subtle coral that just lightens your lips. Both shades are scented exactly as the name and the finish on these lip balms are soft and creamy without leaving your lips with an over glossed look.

As these were purchased in Spain I picked these up for €4.10 each which converted to around £3.29 which is super amazing, you can get these on the UK website here which are a little more expensive than being purchased in the EU but still very reasonable at less than £6 a pop.

I absolutely love KIKO and I am a newly converted fan, I am so chuffed that I was introduced to their products. Any ladies who live in London, you are very lucky as I am told there are around 3 stores - I am sorry if I am wrong and I will definitely be trying to get the whole collection and I will certainly be trying a range of their products.

Have you tried KIKO Kiss Balms? Are there any KIKO products that you would recommend?

*NB: This is not a sponsored post and I have not been financially rewarded by KIKO to feature this product. This product was purchased by myself however the product was on offer at the time due to a store discount offer.

Glo & Ray was a brand I hadn't heard of but that didn't stop me from getting a little excited when these beautiful products popped through my door one morning. The products are all beautifully packed but simple, something I like with packaging and the products look rather exciting too.

Glo & Ray Mariposa Eyeshadow Quad in Aegean Blue £12.50* Link

These colours are just divine and have a gorgeous vibrant pigment, there is three shades of blue and one grey shimmer in this quad which is perfect to allow you to create an ombre look. I haven't swatched this as the colours aren't something I suit as blue seems to flush me out but the shades are beautiful and would definitely suit a more cooler skin tone.

Glo & Ray La Amo Matte Lipstick in Barbie Kiss £12.00* Link

This lipstick is a creamy matte lip colour, is applied beautifully. Enriched with a unique blend you can apply this lip colour just once to create a beautiful dazzling shade and super soft lips. If you are a fan of MAC lipsticks this is a great dupe to MAC St Germain and is definitely worth picking up.

Glo & Ray Nuage Solo Blush in Halo Pink £11.00* Link

This has to be one of the most beautiful pigment of blushes I have ever seen, creating a luminous and dimensional finish. The texture is velvety and applied smoothly, this blush is easy build-able to be able to use a natural look or more dramatic look either way the finish is flawless and the golden shimmer really adds a beautiful glow to your skin. If you're a fan of NARS Orgasm this is a great dupe and I absolutely love this blusher, I think it is my new favourite blush.

What do you think of Glo & Ray cosmetics? Are there any products that you want to pick up?

I have always been in two minds about cream blushers as sometimes they look amazing but other times they can make your make-up blotchy. I was excited to try these cream blushes by Bourjois when they arrived in a beauty box subscription. They retail at £7.99 each and are available from most high street drug/cosmestic stores.

Shade Number 01 - Nude Velvet is a peachy nude blush and would suit a fair skin tone, when I use this I also apply a small amount on your lips to compliment my cheek colour. And Shade Number 03 - Rose Tender is a light pink blush and would suit both a fair and darker skin tone.

Both these blushes are of a creamy texture with a high pigment but they have a powdery-matte finish similar to a moose texture and they look lovely on your skin, the downside is that they didn't last on your skin for very long and I think for the value you could pick up a better blusher.

Have you tried Bourjois Cream Blushes? Is there a cream blush that you would recommend?

This was a complete impulse buy after seeing so many reviews from other bloggers, I picked up Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation from Boots as I really wanted to start using high street make-up more as over the years I had completely gone off high street make-up and become a high end snob, hopefully no more though!

Rimmel say that this foundation instantly reawakens your skin and adds a healthy glow whilst minimizing premature skin ageing. It is a light, smooth texture for natural poreless coverage and instantly eliminates signs of tiredness and lifts skin from fatigue whilst leaving a flawless natural finish. This foundation also contains peptides that increases the elasticity in your skin and has a SPF 15 to help protect your skin.

I have oily/combination skin but occasionally my skin can be dull and dry and I often need some colour and a glow adding to my skin. My instant thoughts when using this foundation was 'this is going to make me orange' but it doesn't as the product is easily blend-able without leaving those unwanted tide marks or orange blotchy marks across your face. If you have ever used YSL Touché Éclat foundation this is very similar (I say very similar as the YSL is a favourite of mine).

I picked up this up in the Shade Soft Beige - 200, I usually use MAC NC20/NW20 or YSL BR40 so you have an idea for comparison. The coverage of this foundation isn't very heavy so it's perfect if you want an 'Au Naturale' look but on those days when you need a little extra cover I mix this with my normal day to day cover foundation or dab a few blobs of this on top on my T-Zone and under my eyes just to give me a glow. The cost is very reasonable at £8.99 from Boots but if you search the right places i.e. supermarkets you can pick this up a lot cheaper.

I haven't taken before or after photo's as I wanted to save you all from seeing a close up of my mug on your screens but I am very impressed with this foundation and I think it's a great little foundation to have in your make-up bag to use on those days you need an extra glow.

What are your thoughts on Wake Me Up Foundation?
