I have always been in two minds about cream blushers as sometimes they look amazing but other times they can make your make-up blotchy. I was excited to try these cream blushes by Bourjois when they arrived in a beauty box subscription. They retail at £7.99 each and are available from most high street drug/cosmestic stores.

Shade Number 01 - Nude Velvet is a peachy nude blush and would suit a fair skin tone, when I use this I also apply a small amount on your lips to compliment my cheek colour. And Shade Number 03 - Rose Tender is a light pink blush and would suit both a fair and darker skin tone.

Both these blushes are of a creamy texture with a high pigment but they have a powdery-matte finish similar to a moose texture and they look lovely on your skin, the downside is that they didn't last on your skin for very long and I think for the value you could pick up a better blusher.

Have you tried Bourjois Cream Blushes? Is there a cream blush that you would recommend?

I am sure you will have heard about Tiny Tea and their Tea-toxes as they have became some what of a crazy within the blogger, health and general female world anyway. They offer a range of natural tea's formulated with Chinese herbs and medicinal principles to offer a herbal cleanse for your body and aid with a variety of problems us women and even men can experience, this range of tea includes Tiny Tea to aid with cleansing your digestive system, Gluten Free Tiny Tea, Her Tea (Everyday Tea), Anti-C Tea, Fertility Tea and Man Tea.

I was delighted when Your Tea offered to send me their Tiny Tea 14 Day Detox* to try and review. I had wanted to try a form of tea-tox for a while as I often suffer from bloating and tummy related problems for unknown reasons so being given the chance to try a natural remedy was something I got excited over.

About Tiny Tea:

Tiny Tea is a natural balance herbal tea that will nourish and cleanse your digestive system to replenish and restore back to its natural state. Now I know what you are thinking, but no it doesn't contain any laxatives. In fact I believe this is the only digestive tea-tox that doesn't have this effect so no need to worry about running to the toilet. Tiny Tea has been formulated, tested and created by qualified Chinese medicine practitioners with years of experience so I for one trust them.

Tiny Tea say that this cleanse will assist with reducing weight (of course the results of this are up to you and are depending on your diet), ease bloating, increase digestion function, improves skin's clarify, increase overall energy levels and alleviate issues associated with food intolerances.

I admit I was a little sceptical about whether the above is true and whether it was just a myth or selling technique but I do genuinely believe the results after I decided to do a little research and check out peoples results on social media sites and by reading reviews on other blogs. I am now looking forward to seeing the results.

Cost and Purchase Details:

Your Tea will ship their tea to USA/America, UK, Europe, Australia, Canada, Africa, Asia, and New Zealand. When you go onto their website www.yourtea.com all you need to do is select your location and away you go. The cost starts from £20.00 GBP depending on what tea-tox you purchase, if you do decide to purchase a longer tea-tox it will work out better financially.

What do I get and What are the ingredients?

You will receive this cute little box filled with 42 pretty pink pouches containing unbleeched teabags which is enough for a 14 day detox, each tea bag weighs 2.5g. Don't be put off by the poignant smell as it does smell a little earthy but the taste is rather different.

Ingredients include Oolong tea which is rich in anti-oxidants and has a wide range of health benefits, Jue ming zi which comes from cassia seed and helps cleanse and improve digestive function, He ye which comes from lotus leaf and helps with a variety of health issues but mainly cleanses and restores your spleen and digestive system, Shan zha that is also known as hawthorn fruit and is used to treat and prevent indigestion, diarrhea, chest pain, abdomen paid and promotes a healthy digestion, Lai fu zi also known as radish seed aids with excess gas (burping), coughing, phlegm, asthmatic symptoms and promotes digestion and enhances the system of spleen, stomach and lung channels. Chen pi which comes from tangerine peel helps relieve diaphragm and eases abdominal distention, fullness, bloating, nausea, vomiting and belching and Mai ya which comes from germinated barley that is used to treat stagnant liver and stomach conditions such as indigestion, epigastic pain, bloating and in women helps lactation and eases breast pain.

How Do I Use Tiny Tea Detox?

You drink Tiny Tea three times a day and is recommended at least 30 minutes before you eat your breakfast, lunch and your evening meal (if you forget you can drink this after but the results are better if drunk before). The taste can be a little weird but nice at the same time, but stick with it as it does get better. If you prefer a sweeter taste you can add a small spoon of honey (I prefer manuka honey as it's better for you) or a slice of a citrus fruit.

If you are using Tiny Tea to contribute towards weight loss then this will work best with a healthy eating plan, Your Tea also have one should you wish to follow here.

I will keep you updated on the effects of the Tea-tox on my blog or on my Instagram but if you decide to purchase your own Tea-tox I'd love to hear how you get on too :)

*This post contains a PR sample, this post has not been sponsored and all results/comments once completed the tea-tox will be based on my own personal experience and opinion.

This was a complete impulse buy after seeing so many reviews from other bloggers, I picked up Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation from Boots as I really wanted to start using high street make-up more as over the years I had completely gone off high street make-up and become a high end snob, hopefully no more though!

Rimmel say that this foundation instantly reawakens your skin and adds a healthy glow whilst minimizing premature skin ageing. It is a light, smooth texture for natural poreless coverage and instantly eliminates signs of tiredness and lifts skin from fatigue whilst leaving a flawless natural finish. This foundation also contains peptides that increases the elasticity in your skin and has a SPF 15 to help protect your skin.

I have oily/combination skin but occasionally my skin can be dull and dry and I often need some colour and a glow adding to my skin. My instant thoughts when using this foundation was 'this is going to make me orange' but it doesn't as the product is easily blend-able without leaving those unwanted tide marks or orange blotchy marks across your face. If you have ever used YSL Touché Éclat foundation this is very similar (I say very similar as the YSL is a favourite of mine).

I picked up this up in the Shade Soft Beige - 200, I usually use MAC NC20/NW20 or YSL BR40 so you have an idea for comparison. The coverage of this foundation isn't very heavy so it's perfect if you want an 'Au Naturale' look but on those days when you need a little extra cover I mix this with my normal day to day cover foundation or dab a few blobs of this on top on my T-Zone and under my eyes just to give me a glow. The cost is very reasonable at £8.99 from Boots but if you search the right places i.e. supermarkets you can pick this up a lot cheaper.

I haven't taken before or after photo's as I wanted to save you all from seeing a close up of my mug on your screens but I am very impressed with this foundation and I think it's a great little foundation to have in your make-up bag to use on those days you need an extra glow.

What are your thoughts on Wake Me Up Foundation?

Contouring and highlighting has became a national craze for everyone especially in the blogger world and we have Kimmy K herself to thank for her world famous selfies that have us all especially me wanting to have that super thin nose and that defined jawline. There are so many products out there that you can use to contour and highlight your skin, finding the right products for your skin tone is important as if you get it wrong it can have the complete opposite effect.

I use a variety of products to contour and highlight my skin and they vary depending on how my skin feels each day, no matter what products I use I always use a powder contour and highlight kit over any of the liquid/moose products I use and the powder kit that is my favourite is Sleek Contour and Blush Palette. I use the shade Fair but this does come in three other shades so I am sure you will find one to suit you, if in doubt pop down to your local boots as they always have samples for you to test on your skin.

This palette is reasonable priced at £7.99 and is easily applied with a brush, I use aReal Techniques contour brush and the blusher brush to apply the contour and blush shades and I use an ecotools multi purpose brush to apply the highlight as it dusts this over your face rather than applying a thick shimmer.

I love this palette and I think its great to have in your handbag just to add some definition and some colour to your face. No matter what products I use I always go back to the Sleek contour kits as they are amazing and for the price you really can't go wrong.

What products do you use to highlight and contour your face? Is there any other Sleek products you recommend?

I have always been a fan of DKNY fragrances as they are just so sophisticated, sexy and iconic. I was super excited to hear about DKNY's new fragrance 'My NY' created and dedicated to the big apple itself.

When I received the press release for this I was drawn in with the wonderful passion that went in to creating this fragrance. The campaign features Rita Ora and captures the excitement, personality and carefree inspiring atmosphere that New York has. The whole campaign is shot as it is seen through Rita's eyes and shows Rita holding the new My NY bottle in the iconic Times Square among bright lights and passing cabs. Sounds exciting right! *Drifts off into a dream world where I jump on a plane and visits NY*

After I first opened the bottle* I was fell in love with the bottle, a super cute heart shaped bottle with a 3D platforms on the top that represents the big iconic buildings of the city itself. The scent is absolutely divine and is beautifully sexy and spontaneous yet oh so chic - it is perfect for day wear or even for that special occasion.

The top notes build the sexiness of the scent with Raspberries and Gabanum with accents of Pink Pepper, leading onto the middle notes with the sensuality of Egyptian Jasmine wrapped with Freesia and roots of Orris and the final notes add the soul to the fragrance with Patchouli Heart LMR, Vanilla Absolute and Musk laced with vibrant Ambergris.

DKNY MYNY EDP retails at £37 for 30ml, £49 for 50ml* and £68 for 100ml. DKNY MYNY Shower Gel is £24 for 100ml and DKNY MYNY Body Lotion is £27 for 100ml.

DKNY MYNY is available exclusively at Debenhams.com and W1 from 5th August 2014 and will be released Nationwide from 20th August 2014.

Will you be picking up DKNY MYNY when it is released?
I think you should I love it!

I for one occasionally suffer from really dry lips, mainly because I have really sensitive skin so anything I put on my lips can dry them out quicker. I tend to avoid balms like Vaseline and Nivea as I find they make my lips more dry so it doesn't solve the problem, and so my search begun!

I was kindly sent a range of skincare products by Clinique and within this was the Superbalm Lip Treatment* I was super excited to try this as it looked amazing so I was hoping that this would be as good as it looks.

Clinique say that this lip treatment is deeply hydrating and helps repair dry, distressed lips and replenishes moisture loss. Superbalm Lip Treatment contains rich emollients to comfort your lips and gives a satiny-smooth look and feel.

I religiously use this product twice a day, once in the morning when applying my make-up before applying my gloss or lipstick and once in the evening before I go bed or after I have pampered myself. My lips feel instantly hydrated once the product is applied without leaving a greasy overly glossed look like other balms can, this product works great as a base coat to lipsticks or gloss or you can wear without just for a boost of hydration.

After about 3 days I noticed a massive difference to my lips and I noticed that they were not as dry or sore and this really helped repair my skin and I can now wear lipstick without it looking all bumpy. And when I don't use this product I notice my lips start to get dry again.

The price is slightly more than average at £13.00 but I have been using this a couple of months now and there is a lot of product left so in this case a little really does go along way. This is my handbag necessity throughout the year but as we are now coming up to the chapped lips season I would definitely recommend you picking this up if you suffer from dry lips like me.  This product for me is a saviour! And I can't wait to try more Clinique products in future as so far each one has impressed me.

What are you favourite lip products? Will you be picking this beauty up?

As an oily/combination skinned girl, summer and hot days especially can make my face appear shiner than usual and almost feels like my make-up is sliding off my face. My necessity product throughout Spring/Summer has got to be a mattifying primer, there are just so many out there to suit different skin types it's important to ensure you find the right one for you. I have tried powders to gels, silicone feel primers to liquid powders and there's some others that I have tried too.

Personally for me when you have oily/combination skin then silicone based primers are the ones I avoid, despite them making my skin appear and look matte they don't tend to last long and I feel my make-up sliding off my face during the day and my skin feels stodgy if that make's sense. I much prefer a liquid/creamy product that has a matte finish as I find these light wearing and they last long too, and if I need a little extra finish over my make-up I will apply a small dust of translucent powder over my t-zone.

These are two of my favourite primers, they are very similar products with a similar texture and finish and they both do the trick! What more could you want. I can often be a make-up snob and that's mainly due to me finding so many high street products that reacted with my skin so I stuck with the high end brands that I know and love but with products like these I am starting to be drawn back to high street products after all.

Estee Lauder Matte Perfecting Primer - Link is retailed at £23.50 for a 30ml which for a high end product is pretty reasonable, the product comes in an easy squeeze tube which is easy for application and as you can see by the left example above the product is a creamy liquid in a medium texture which is great for coverage without being too heavy on your skin. The product dries clear and contains natural products including Vitamin E and Green Tea which helps calm and soothe your skin, this is great for me as I have sensitive skin and this works well with me. This product is great under foundation, powder or even on its own and instantly reduces shine and leaves your skin feeling fresh with a matte finish.

MaxFactor Facefinity All Day Primer - Link is retailed at £10.99 for a 30ml which for a high street product is slightly more expensive than other drugstore products. In a pump applicator this product is really easy to apply and avoids messy fingers, again this product is a creamy liquid and is also in a medium texture - see the example on the left. This product dries clear and is great to help your make-up stay in place for longer with liquid, powder, moose or even on it's own. It also contains SPF 20 - WINNER!

Overall I love both of these primers and I tend to mix and match on a daily basis between these for no reason what so ever, being honest I would be more drawn to the Estee Lauder Matte Perfecting Primer as I am a high end snob but I do love both of them and if you have either oily, combination or even normal skin then I would recommend both of these to you depending on your preference :)

Are there any primers that you would recommend?

So bit of a while since I have updated you on my wedding plans but I finally have things in progress so I thought I would update you on my current progress. I have created a little wedding corner in my living room with my Wedding Day scented Yankee Candle, my Pot of Dreams Wedding Fund, some flowers and my wedding planner so it's a focus point in my home which always puts a smile on my face.

We have finally booked our holiday to view a variety of venues as we are getting married in Southern Spain so hopefully by the time we come back in October we will have booked our venue. Even more exciting is I have finally discussed the final look for my wedding dress, I am having my wedding dress and my bridesmaid dresses designed by Gurtlamorous so I went for my consultation and we went through fabric, lace, veil, beading and train fabrics and it was rather exciting! It was also very hard to choose as there are so many different types of fabrics, and this is just the start as I have to pick the different colour swatches next time but it is all going to be worth it and it make's me so happy that me and my girls will have specially made dresses on my big day that will hopefully make them feel special too :)

Other than that there isn't really much else to tell at the moment, but I will keep you updated and expect to see a lot of DIY wedding posts as I like to think myself as a creative soul and I will be trying to make as much as I can for my wedding as I think it make's it more personal :)

Are you getting married soon? Do you have any useful tips that may help me along the way?
